Play On! Acting Studio, at
The Exchange in Farmington, offers acting classes for
school-age students and adults, from newcomers interested in exploring acting
as a hobby
to pre-professionals seeking private instruction.
Play On! is a
studio committed to providing first-rate instruction in a variety of
skills invaluable to both aspiring actors and anyone who must, at times,
be in the limelight.
It is one of the only places in the Farmington Valley where
students can learn the craft of acting. As such, our work is dedicated
to process, not product. We are not a theater where one just performs;
rather we are a studio where one learns how to perform. We strive to instill in our students a love of acting, an
abiding respect for all aspects of theater,
a professional work ethic,
and an understanding of the many and varied skills invaluable to not
only the actor, but anyone interested in improving their interpersonal
skills.
